The next two weeks, Shannon will be in Africa on a missions trip...I believe she will spend most of her time in the country of Uganda...how amazing is that?? She said if she is able to get internet access, she will post some pics to her flickr account...so, check the link sometime over the next few days...oh, and of course, pray for her as she travels to meet with the missions team...
I am looking forward to some great stories when she returns...maybe have to do some guest blogs from her...

woo hoo! go shannon! if i could go anywhere...probably australia. i've always wanted to visit and i would love to go there for a mission trip. so your follow-up would be...what's stopping you from going?? that's my guess. and of course right now isn't the best time with a new baby on the way but someday i hope to make it there.
Ok, so you get a free pass for the next couple of months or so...ha!
What scares me personally is I say "someday" a lot...not being a great planner, someday will never come if I keep thinking that way...just something to consider...
